1. Introduction

This policy is designed to articulate Guardia Risk’s commitment to sourcing goods and services in an ethical, sustainable, and responsible manner. We are committed to a supply chain that respects our business values, including human rights, environmental sustainability, and responsible economic practices.

2. Scope

This policy applies to all employees of Guardia Risk and extends to all our suppliers and contractors. It encompasses all goods and services procured by Guardia Risk.

3. Policy Principles

  1. Respect for Human Rights
    •  Guardia Risk requires all its suppliers to comply with local and international labor laws, and respect human rights as outlined in the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights. This includes but is not limited to prohibitions on child labor, forced labor, and any form of discrimination.
  2. Environmental Sustainability
    •  Guardia Risk is committed to minimizing the environmental impact of our business operations. We will favor suppliers who demonstrate a commitment to sustainable practices, including waste reduction, recycling, and the use of renewable energy.
  3. Ethical Business Practices
    •  All suppliers must commit to high ethical standards, including a zero-tolerance policy for corruption, bribery, or fraudulent business practices. Suppliers should commit to transparent business practices and uphold our corporate code of ethics.
  4. Quality and Safety
    •  All goods and services procured must meet our high standards for quality and safety. Suppliers must comply with relevant local and international standards and regulations related to their products or services.
  5. Diversity and Inclusivity
    •  We strive to promote diversity in our supply chain and will favor suppliers that support this aim, including businesses owned by underrepresented groups.

4. Implementation

The application of this policy will be integrated into our procurement processes. Vendors will be required to demonstrate their adherence to these principles as part of their qualification process. We will also establish a process for monitoring and auditing our suppliers’ compliance with this policy.

5. Enforcement and Compliance

Failure to comply with this policy can result in a review and potential termination of the supplier relationship. Suppliers who are found in violation of this policy will be given the opportunity to address these issues. If a resolution cannot be found, Guardia Risk reserves the right to terminate the relationship.

6. Review

This policy will be reviewed regularly to ensure it remains in line with Guardia Risk’s values, as well as evolving societal expectations and regulatory standards.

By committing to responsible sourcing, Guardia Risk seeks to drive positive change in our supply chain, and contribute to a more sustainable and equitable world.
